Job descriptionShall be responsible for Overall quality functions of Sheet Metal manufacturing fabrication andMachining UnitJob Responsibilities QMS Implementation Have good understanding of IATF 16949 requirements Past experience of implementing QMS Internal Auditor certified by reputed Certification Body Certified Green Belt in Six Sigma Ensure all documents like procedures processes PFD FMEA CP etc are updated andkept current Conducting quality meeting with top management on current status of quality and systemrelated issues Prepare for external QMS audits and timely closure of NCs raisedCustomer Related Activities Maintain cordial relationship with customer and timely resolution of quality related issues Project master schedule preparation support against customer plan APQP Customer drawing study Preparing EAN Engineering Alteration note based on customer drawing Customer co-ordinator for new projects PPAP ECN related activities Customer initial Process Product audit Coordination Counter measure follow up Part fitment check Fitment follow-up with car condition at customer end Master sample preparation submission getting approval from customer EO Change Engineering Order Activities – Drawing Change detail timing plan stock coveragereport preparation mould modification activities car Fitment approval from Customer Process Quality Activities Responsible for taking corrective action preventive action for the customer complaints Resolves Quality issues by identifying problems examining solution options implementingaction plans and providing resources Utilized Quality Tools FMEA Control plan SPC Pareto Charts 8D Fish bone Diagram Review and analyze the study results and recommend suggestions to improve theeffectiveness of processes based upon the findings Product process validation of parts as per customer requirements with internal audits Timely Updating of FMEA Control plan Inspection reports based on corrective actions Making Internal Quality Audits and preparing report Persuade to team members to make small improvements KAIZEN in their work place Identifying and Implementation of Error proof systems at possible areas Horizontaldeployment of Poke yoke Preparing monthly cost of Poor-Quality report present to top management PDI Analysis Actions Feedback Carrying out analysis counteraction for quality issues inhouse customer end and InitiateCounteractions for defect free supply to customers Ensure proper communication of the customer voice to the personnel inside the plant Monitor and track the quality indicators on daily monthly basis Analysis the PDI defects and driving closure of same Coordination with plant team for action implementation Work with CFT drive for the implementation of robust technical solutions for customercomplaint and critical In-process defects Supplier Related Activities Ensure supplier has latest drawings Conduct incoming inspection and closure of issues with suppliers Supplier auditQualifications Skills B Tech ME Diploma in ME 8 10 years of work experience in Managing Product Quality in Automotive SheetMetal Pressing and Fabrication industry Analytical Coordination skills with production despatch toolroom Functions forProblems Resolution providing feedback on timely basis Role Quality HeadIndustry Type Automotive Sheet Metal pressing and FabricationFunctional Area Quality AssuranceEmployment Type Full Time PermanentJob Types Full-time Regular PermanentSalary 35 000 00 – 40 000 00 per monthSchedule Day shiftCOVID-19 considerations YesAbility to commute relocate Jamshedpur Jharkhand Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work Required Experience total work 8 years Required Speak with the employer 91 6261030316
