Business Development Associate Job Description
We are looking for an energetic business development associate to help us drive our sales and grow the business. You will attract new clients and build solid relationships with them while maintaining existing relationships. Other duties will include market research, developing business strategies and pitches, managing a variety of projects, and identifying new business opportunities. You will work with various departments and report to the Head of Business Development.
The successful applicant will be resourceful, organized and motivated to increase sales, enhance the company’s reputation, and look for new and creative ways to market our products. A background in sales or marketing is strongly desirable.
Roles and Responsibilities
Ø Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction
Ø Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs
Ø Develop Product Broachers and Presentations for Marketing purpose.
Ø Arrange business meetings with prospective clients
Ø Promote the company’s products/services addressing or predicting clients’ objectives
Ø Prepare sales contracts ensuring adherence to law-established rules and guidelines
Ø Keep records of sales, revenue, invoices, etc.
Ø Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers
Ø Develop entry-level staff into valuable salespeople.
Ø Manage social media accounts and promote company’s products/services by posting relevant posts on all the social media accounts.
Ø Willing to familiarize yourself with the company’s vision and mission, seeking to accomplish set goals and objectives.
Ø Conducting market research and identifying potential clients.
Ø Cultivating strong relationships with new clients, while maintaining existing client relationships.
Ø Collating and maintaining client information in the CRM database.
Ø Working closely with staff across departments to implement growth strategies.
Ø Developing and implementing sales strategies, client service and retention plans, and analyzing sales data to inform or update marketing strategies.
Ø Assist with drafting business plans, sales pitches, presentations, reference material, and other documents as required.
Ø Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and meet deadlines.
Ø Identify new business opportunities and partners.
Ø Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with various levels of management, staff, and clients. Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support
Education & Skills:
Ø Bachelor’s degree in business management, marketing, or related field.
Ø Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ø 1-2 years of experience in Digital marketing.
Ø 1-2 years of experience of Content writing.
Ø Excellent in software selling.
Ø Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure.
Ø Strong organization and project management skills.
Ø Friendly and personable demeanour.
Ø Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant software.
