We are currently seeking a Junior Application Designer to join one of our clients from an Investment Banking company directly with key business and IT stakeholders to gather requirements, design, consider design alternatives, facilitate discussions and provide out-of-the-box solutions. Analyze updates to understand the impacts of feature changes, and clients’ existing integrations. Use experience in Implementation Methodology to implement projects.

Tasks

• Understand client requirements and how they translate in application features;
• Collaborate with a team of IT professionals to set specifications for new applications;
• Design creative prototypes according to specifications;
• Write high quality source code to program complete applications within deadlines;
• Perform unit and integration testing before launch;
• Conduct functional and non-functional testing;
• Troubleshoot and debug applications;
• Evaluate existing applications to reprogram, update and add new features;
• Develop technical documents and handbooks to accurately represent application design and code;

Requirements

• BSc/BA in computer science or relevant field, MSc/MA will be appreciated;
• Good verbal and written communication skills to connect with customers at varying levels of the organization;
• Ability to operate independently and make decisions with little direct supervision;
• Ability to program in at least one programming language such as C#, Java (J2EE), etc;
• Design creative prototypes according to specifications;
