Job Description:

1. Yard Identification
a. Identify locations for three-wheeler and HCV parking yards as per the list for every state
b. Extent of the land and specifications should be as per norms within the financial limits prescribed
for every yard
c. Primarily offer should be given to the land lord in the prescribed form immediately on finding the
suitable land in the yard
d. Identify local contractor in the same Tehsil for constructing compound wall as per the
specifications and cost estimates
e. Get the consent in writing from the Contractor for awarding the contract for execution
f. Identify a watchman / Yard – In-Charge for every yard, compensation should not be over Rs.
10,000 per month – preferably a local resident of the village where the yard is.

g. Give a plan for planning all facilities for all yards in the zone with specific targets for milestones-
identification, facilities / recruitment.

2. Identify a supervisor for every state to monitor these yards as per the SOP. These supervisors
should:
a. Monitor compliance to process all yards in their domain
b. Training should motivate yard in charge to identify alternate channels for disposal like
motivating local money lenders for disposal of three-wheeler and two-wheeler repossessed
vehicles.
c. Ensure that all vehicles in the yard are in running condition. For this purpose, small time
local mechanics should be encouraged to do minimum refurbishment to make the vehicle
presentable for enhancing resale value
d. Keep the yard weed free and vehicles should be kept dust free by periodically cleaning them.
e. Undertake periodic surprise checks to ensure that vehicles as per the ERP and the physical
stock agrees
f. Facilitate certificate on condition of vehicles identified, training and enrol local valuers for
every yard and to conduct valuation as per our norms within the time frame prescribed by us
– create a valuer base
3. Enrolment of Repo Agents
a. While identification of Repo agents will be the responsibility of the functional heads of every
vertical it is the responsibility of these positions to train the repo agents to use our APP and
continuously monitor that these agents are adhering to the requirements of the APP. There
must be continuous interactions with these repo agents and the location -in-charge to
achieve total process adherence

4. Innovative Disposal options

  • Objective of this vertical is to broad base our market for repossessed vehicles to encourage the

direct users buying vehicles from our portal or from the yard so that sale value improves /
mitigates losses

  • Every manager should continuously encourage the state supervisors to identify channels using

the preowned vehicles and encourage them to participate in the auction through “Gaadi Mandi”
platform

  • Continuously interact with the local transport unions, driver unions to disseminate information on

used vehicles and our yards and share the advantages of dealing through the platform vis-à-vis
conventional channels like brokers
5. Facilitate third party vehicles sale
Continuously monitor vehicles posted in the platform for sale by third parties and resolve
exceptions identified by the platform.
