The Diabetes Educator will oversee the discharge process, referral to NIH/Suburban Diabetes Clinic, and refer patients to outside community physicians (primary care doctors, endocrinologists or Endocrinology Mobile Med Clinic)

Meets with representatives from pharmaceutical companies and diabetes equipment manufacturers to remain up-to-date on products for diabetic patients

Maintains and makes minor adjustments to equipment, calibrating, and alignment

The Diabetes Educator will actively interact with the provider community institutionally, regionally, and nationally to contribute to the continuous advancement of diabetes care

Remains up-to-date on professional education in clinical diabetes

Partner with Human Resources to manage the orientation process ensuring effective delivery of required curriculum, create and update classroom materials

Participates in user groups as appropriate

Offers guidance and resolves physician issues

Job Types: Full-time, Regular / Permanent

Salary: ₹35,000.00 – ₹40,000.00 per month
