Main Purpose of the role:
- This role’s purpose is to lead all Indirects sourcing for the LATAM sector. This includes procurement for T&E, Professional Services, MRO, Fleet, Facilities and CapEx categories.
- This role reports into the LATAM MSO VP in GP, lead a team of 100 associates, and interfaces directly with LATAM Executive Committees, as well as External Suppliers.
- Indirects procurement encompasses the purchasing of all services/goods we need to make PepsiCo products outside of what directly goes into our products themselves. Examples include: Personal Protective Equipment, Marketing Equipment, Shelving, HR Third Party Vendor Apps etc.
Accountabilities:
- Develop and lead overall sourcing strategy for LATAM Sector Indirects including: Professional Services, Fleet, Facilities, MRO, Travel and CapEx with total spend USD 1,432MM (USD740MM for PMF and USD683MM for CASABR).
- Develop and lead transformational projects for the sector to identify white space and productivity opportunities
- Partner and engage with senior stakeholders across LATAM Casa Brazil and PMF (Examples: MSO, GM, ExComm)
- Manage productivity and cash flow for total LATAM Indirects portfolio
- Serve as people leader for ~15 Direct Reports and set broader people agenda, including PMP and capability development for 100 associates.
Qualifications: Key Skills:
- 10+ Years of Experience in procurement or related field
- BA/BS in Finance, Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics or related degree
- MBA or Masters Degree preferred
- Breadth / Depth of experience in sourcing processes and procurement best practices, with experience of implementing them in a global environment
- Highly effective interpersonal skills – excellent negotiator and strong communication and influencing skills to all organizational levels and particularly at executive level. Demonstrated ability to develop credible business relationships with GMs, VPs & SVPs
- Solid/Strong understanding of general business economics and key quality and cost drivers
- Strong analytical & financial skills
- Ability to translate complex situations into executive level communication
- Ability to lead and influence large teams based in different locations globally, whom not report directly to the position.
- Excellent language skills – Spanish & English essential, both verbal and in writing
